Champlain Stone, Ltd. welcomes visitors to our quarries. To insure we comply with strict safety guidelines governing our quarries, we encourage you to make an appointment with our Corporate Office prior to your arrival.

FROM NYS THRUWAY/ALBANY, NY
  • Take Exit 24 off the NYS Thruway to Albany, NY
  • From Albany, NY Take I-87 Northway to Exit 20 (the Fort Ann/Whitehall exit)
  • At the light, Turn left on Route 9 North.
  • Follow Route 9 North for about 1 mile, at the light turn right on Route 149 East.
  • Follow 149 East 12 miles ending at a light in the Village of Fort Ann.
  • Turn Left at light on Route 4 North
  • Travel 4 miles to the next light at the intersection of Route 4 & 22.
  • Go Straight at this light on Route 4 & 22 (they run together for a while here)
  • Travel 5.8 miles North into the Village of Whitehall. At the light, continue straight on Route 22 North.
  • Travel 2.8 miles. You will cross a bridge that goes over Lake Champlain. Just after bridge, turn left on Washington County Route 7 (small Blue/Yellow sign)
  • Take immediate left (1/10 mile) continuing on County Route 7 (You will see yellow sign with arrow and you will start seeing small Champlain Stone Brown & Yellow signs).
  • Travel 1.6 miles to a fork in the road. Stay to the right on Pike Brook Road.
  • THE QUARRY IS 2 MILES ON THE LEFT.

FROM RUTLAND, VT
  • Follow Route 4 into New York State.
  • Stay on Route 4 to the Village of Whitehall. At the second light (just after the bridge), bear right on Route 22 North.
  • Travel 2.8 miles. You will cross a bridge that goes over Lake Champlain.
  • Just after bridge, turn left on Washington County Route 7 (Small Blue/Yellow sign)
  • Take immediate left (1/10 mile) continuing on County Route 7 (You will see yellow sign with arrow and you will start seeing small Champlain Stone Brown & Yellow signs).
  • Travel 1.6 miles to a fork in the road. Stay to the right on Pike Brook Road.
  • THE QUARRY IS 2 MILES ON THE LEFT.

FROM TICONDEROGA, NY
  • Take Route 22 South toward Whitehall, NY
  • Once you see the turn for Huletts Landing on the right, continue straight on Route 22 South for 4 miles.
  • At bottom of the hill, turn right on Washington County Route 7. (Small Blue & Yellow sign)
  • Take immediate left (1/10 mile) continuing on County Route 7 (you will see yellow sign with arrow and you will start seeing small Champlain Stone Brown & Yellow signs).
  • Travel 1.6 miles to a fork in the road. Stay to the right on Pike Brook Road.
  • THE QUARRY IS 2 MILES ON THE LEFT.

  • The Quarry is on your right, you will see a huge American flag and blue Champlain Stone sign.

FROM BURLINGTON, VT
  • Take Route 7 South for 22 miles.
  • Take Route 22A South (Vergennes for 42.5 miles)
  • Take Route 4 to the Village of Whitehall,
  • At the second light (just after the bridge), turn left on Route 4 South.
  • Stay on Route 4 for 5.8 miles.
  • The Quarry is on your right, you will see a huge American flag and blue Champlain Stone sign.
